Whiplash injuries

Abstract

|
Five cases of whiplash type injuries were experienced in the Department of Surgery, St Poul´s Hospital, Catholic Medical Center. In this paper the mechanisms of occurrence of such type injury were discussused and emphasized that meticulous physical examinations were desirable even though there were no skeletal injuries or abnormalities of the cervical spine.
